Work Hard, Play Hard

One Saturday morning Nat called us up and invited us over to Grandma's house for a day of work and play, so we said count us in and off to Grandmother's house we went. Grandma and Grandpa have great big trees in the back yard that fill up their whole yard with leaves in the fall. After building some forts inside the house we decided to take the party outside and put our little slaves busy bodies to work. These guys didn't mess around either (except for the few occasional breaks pictured below). But, how can you rake up a big pile of leaves and just leave it? Well, they couldn't so 1-2-3 and in they went! Chloe wasn't a big fan of pokey leaves in her shirt (oh, like mother, like daughter), but it didn't stop her for long. She got a few out and she was right back in.

The rest of the day was filled with hot chocolate, paper plate turkeys, more fort building, and massages (Nat needed practice to I got to be a lucky recipient while Alanna took a 3 hour nap...yeah). So fun was had by all!

Check out this raking action...nice!
