Chloe's First Primary Talk

Chloe gave her first talk in Primary and it was on "God Speaks Through Prophets." She told the story of Noah's arc and bore her testimony of prophets. Before we left for church I asked her if she was ready to give her talk in primary and she made this pose with her arms folded and said "and be reverent?" Sometimes don't you just wish you could freeze time?

The big 3

Here's our big 3 year old and our big 3 month old.

Things we love about our 3 year old:
She's potty trained
She says some pretty funny things
She loves to wrestle with daddy
She like to dance with mommy
She goes to school and learns so many new things
She still lets mommy pick out her clothes
She's a good little shopper (most of the time)
And, she still likes to snuggle

Things we love about our 3 month old:
She doesn't talk back (yet)
She's not picky about her food
She smiles when you just look at her
She takes lots of naps during the day
She sleeps through the night (most of the time)
She falls asleep in your arms and in her crib
And, she still likes to snuggle

Guess who?

Which one is Chloe and which one is Alanna?

March Madness

This is what I call March Madness. We had a few days of warm weather, then we got hit with this. We woke up to about 6 inches of fresh powder. I'm not a fan!

Grandma Jody

We were so lucky to have Grandma Jody come visit us. It was so fun to have her spend time with the girls. Chloe found a friend for life. Grandma Jody and Chloe would play all day. She also made us our favorite potato rolls and the best chocolate chip cookies! Thanks, mom! Grandma Jody was also a pro at putting Alanna to sleep...even when she had a gassy, fussy tummy. We love Grandma Jody!!

Sunday nap time

Doesn't this just make you want to curl up and take a long nap? We've always known Duchess loves to snuggle, but Chloe? Who knew! Daddy, Chloe and Duchess all fell asleep on a Sunday afternoon.

Big Smiles

The first big smiles! Alanna has been full of smiles lately. All you have to do is walk up to her and say "hi" and she'll give you the biggest smile ever. I love it!

Chopped

You've seen the before, now here's the after! Chloe sporting her new look. I love it! Many thanks to my awesome hair dresser! It makes her look so grown up...when did that happen?

Out like a light

One day I came out into the living room and this is what I found. I wondered who took my Chloe and replaced her with this sleepy girl, but, alas, it was my little Chloe at the start of a nasty cold. She fell asleep in the morning (which never happens), and she never just falls asleep so we knew something was up. And, sure enough, as soon as she woke up she was on fire. Poor thing!

Alanna's Blessing

What a special day for our baby girl. Dad and Flo were able to come down for the blessing which is always a treat. We were also blessed to have so many of our family and friends come for the blessing. We are so grateful for the wonderful people that are in our life.

Since Chloe was only in her blessing dress for a few minutes we decided to use the same dress for Alanna. It was a perfect fit! She was such a good girl during the blessing and her daddy gave her a wonderful blessing. So Alanna Reese is the official name even though she will always be Reese in her Grandpa's eyes!

Big Sis, Lil Sis

"Mom, I wanna hold her" "OK" Then I start snapping away because I knew it would last long. As I'm taking the pictures...timberrrrrrrrrrr...Alanna falls face first off Chloe's lap. I guess Chloe's not quite ready to babysit yet!

Christmas with the Rasks!

We had so much fun with the Rasks when they came to visit for Christmas. They spoil us rotten!

Are you smarter than a preschooler?

The answer is maybe a little smarter now, but not for long. This is a toy computer, but it's just like the real thing with a mouse and everything. She's going to be passing me up in no time!
