While we were in Washington for my Grandma's funeral we were hit by a snow storm and had a hard time leaving from Seattle. Our flight was cancelled and we coudn't leave until the next day. We were fortunate, though, because we didn't have to sleep at the airport like many others. We found out the flight was cancelled before we got to the airport so we rebooked it for the next day. Seattle hasn't had a snow storm like that since 1996 (lucky us!). We're used to that much snow in Utah, but to the locals it was devastating. People were buying out grocery stores and they were snowed in and couldn't go to work because snow plows couldn't keep up.
Utah was also getting hit by snow so when we got home from the airport the kids were out playing in it. I had about had it with the snow, but I couldn't resist and be out there with them. So cute! Chloe and her cousin Ry Ry.
