The month of December is always crazy for everyone, but for me it's crazy times 10. You name it, we got it during the month of December. It seems like everything gets packed in the first 2 weeks because the week before Christmas is usually open for most people and this year was no different. So, we had Alanna's party on December 23rd. We had a full house with family from both sides (I know, the Memmot clan can make any house a full house :)), and some friends.
Our Winter "One"derland party was a success, not that Alanna will remember any of it, but her crazy mom will. We had pizza for dinner, then a dessert spread afterwards that included white chocolate covered popcorn, licorice, gumballs, swedish fish, marshmallow snowmen, white chocolate oreos, powdered donuts and cupcakes...whew! And, Alanna had her very own cake (see pictures below). She was not afraid to dig in either. As soon as she had a taste of it she wrapped both her little hands around that thing and dove in, head first. You go, girl!

The party looks amazing! I am so sad we missed it. We need to get together soon. We still have her present, maybe it can be a 14 month present :)
Alana's birthday party looked like alot of fun, I wished I could have been there, maybe next year. Love Grandma Jody
