9 month Alanna

How is it that you completely forget each phase? I feel like I'm experiencing each stage of Alanna's first year like she was my first baby. Maybe that's the gift we've been given to make us want to have more. If that's the case then to keep things balanced we're given the sleepless nights, crying fits and ear-piercing screams to act as birth control.

For the most part Alanna has been a very good baby. I say for the most part because she definately has her days, but don't we all. At 9 months old Alanna:

• Does a little dance when you said, "shake it, shake it"
• Got her first tooth (on the bottom)
• Pretty much smiles on command (as you can tell)
• Takes 2 naps during the day and sleeps about 10-12 hours at night (just to remind myself if there is a #3...even though every baby is different)
• Falls asleep on her own without any rocking (but it would be nice to have those occasional cuddling moments of rocking to sleep)
• Crawls like a banshee
• Pulls herself up on anything she can grab hold of and walks along it
• Says mama, dada, and kkkkk for kitty
• Squeals with delight whenever she sees duchess or the kitties
• Likes to snuggle her blanky
• Still has a binky
• Absolutely loves a bath and splashes like crazy
• Wants mama to hold her whenever she's in the room
• Still puts anything and everything into her mouth
