Chloe graduated from T-Ball and tried out coach pitch this season. She was the only girl on the team, but that didn't hold her back. She always tried her best and did a really good job. She got some good hits and made a few throws. Now I know where the phrase "throws like a girl" comes from, but she sure looked dang cute out there!!

Chloe's Summer Dance Recital
Chloe has had such a fun year at dance. She attended Jazz N Place in Lehi, but the best part about it was that 3 of her best friends were in the same class with her. Chloe, Kenadie, Gracie and Makenna had a blast dancing to Summer Nights for their recital and they were just so dang cute!!

Chillin' at Bridal Veil Falls
It was such a nice day we headed out to Deer Creek state park to play at the beach, but wouldn't you know the one time we decide to take duchess is the one time they don't allow dogs at a park? So we did the next best thing and went to Bridal Veil falls to splash in the water. The water was so cold my feet would go numb, but that didn't stop the girls from having fun. They loved playing in the glacier water and climbing up the big rocks. Definitely daddy's girls!!

Thanksgiving Point Farm with the Memmotts
We love going to the Thanksgiving Point farm and the best part about it is that it's only a hop, skip and a jump away. We invited the Memmott's with us this time. Yee Haw!

Bon Jovi "Because We Can" Concert
Angie and I celebrated our birthdays a little after our actual birthdays at a Bon Jovi concert. We got the tickets 5 months before the concert so we had been anticipating it for a long time. Of course we splurged and got the nose bleed section. Seriously...why are concerts to expensive? The first picture is the view of our seats when we first got there. We were about an hour early so we hung out antsy for the concert to start. Then about 5 minutes before show time some girls in the row behind us start packing up all their stuff saying they got better seats. We asked them how and they said "talk to the old guy." Well, the only old guy I could remember was the usher so I run down to him and ask him if he has better seats. He played dumb for a minute, but then he asks to see our tickets and hands me tickets for seats down in the lower bowl. WHAT? That never happens!! We grabbed our stuff and ran down a level just in time for the concert to start. It was awesome!!!

Disneyland 2012
We decided to hit the road and make a quick trip to California for some good Feher family fun before tax season started. It was so good to get away and warm up a bit. Granted we've had an unseasonable warm winter, but I still prefer 75 degrees over 50...don't you? We played at Disneyland and California adventure for a few days and we couldn't leave without splashing in the Pacific Ocean.
Here's some of the highlights from our time in California:
Ahh...beautiful Huntington Beach. Um...why did we ever move?
The kids loved the beach. We didn't get there until late afternoon, so we didn't have much time to play, but they would have played all night if we were ok with purple legs.
We didn't start out so great for it being the happiest place on earth. Half of the group forgot their tickets at the hotel and Jason got a migraine, but we still managed to get a few smiles on us by the end of the day. Days 2 and 3 went much better and there were hardly any lines. Gotta love Disneyland during the off season!
